At the end of August, we asked associates to help Junior Achievement of Lincoln win the grand prize of $10,000 by voting in First National Bank‘s Community First Awards. We’re excited to announce that with help of your votes, Junior Achievement of Lincoln was selected as the runner-up and received a prize of $2,500 that will be put toward business and entrepreneurship education in Lincoln classrooms.
We want to thank associates who voted in support of Junior Achievement. For 46 years, the organization has worked to equip students in Lincoln with the skills they need to succeed in a global economy and inspire them to reach their potential.
Don’t forget that Nelnet associates are encouraged to volunteer with Junior Achievement of Lincoln during the 2017-2018 school year. For more information about the program, visit this website.
