Nelnet Associates Raise Over $1 Million for United Way
Nelnet’s 2025 United Way campaign has officially wrapped, and we’re excited to share the results from this company-wide effort. Together with our associates, Nelnet raised $1,038,333 to support local United Way chapters and the nonprofits they fund across the country.
The Nelnet Foundation matched every donation—doubling first-time gifts and providing a 3-to-1 match for new donors—to maximize the impact in the places our associates live and care about most.
From Colorado and Nebraska to Georgia, Texas, Wisconsin, and beyond, our associates embraced the ‘Give Where You Live’ spirit–making meaningful contributions to the communities they call home, which was the heart of this campaign.
